The CGB, the General Confederation of Beet Growers, founded in 1921, is the trade union representing French beet growers with 11 departmental delegations. It defends the interests of sugar beet producers and promotes this crop in France.
The custom-made plush toy for the Beetroot Confederation
The French General Confederation of Beet Growers (CGB) commissioned Peluche Création to design their custom mascot: Miss Better, a series of three 20cm tall beet-shaped plush toys, specially created to promote French sugar beets in a fun and educational way. The aim of this project was to enhance the image of beets among professionals and the general public, while supporting the CGB's initiatives to ensure the sustainability of beet cultivation in France. The plush toys were distributed at agricultural and educational events through the CGB's regional branches.
Customizing Miss Better, the bespoke CDB mascot
Created using the logo of the French Beetroot Confederation and highlighting the company's flagship product, beets, the Miss Better plush toys come in three distinct models. Each plush toy is made of beige with leaves in various colors: green, yellow, and brown, symbolizing the health and disease of beets, respectively. Measuring 30 cm with their leaves, these plush toys are not only attractive but also interactive thanks to their arms and legs equipped with small Velcro fasteners, allowing them to be joined together or their hands to be held together. The eyes and mouth are embroidered, and the back of each plush toy features the embroidered text "Miss Better" and "The French Sugar Beet." These details add a personal touch and reinforce the project's message.
CBD Promotional Plush Toy Standards
The plush toys for the Beetroot Confederation meet the standards and regulations for children EN71-1-2-3 and REACH.
