The RPET is part of a CSR approach thanks to several advantages:

- Reduce the amount of packaging in natural and ocean recycling centers.
What is RPET?
RPET stands for Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate, it simply comes from the reuse of plastic. To begin with, the sorting plants separate the different types of plastics (polymers: PP, PS, etc.) according to their nature. By crushing the empty bottles collected, the factories transform these bottles into pellets through a recycling process. From these granules, new bottles are created or any other object such as RPET stuffed animals.
How is an RPET plush made?
Lint requires RPET which usually comes from plastic bottles. Once the PET has been sorted, it is crushed and processed. The plastic shavings are then melted to form filaments that factories need for the manufacture of fluff.
The use of recycled PET promotes the circular economy and therefore avoids using new materials. This action helps to reduce its carbon footprint. For 1 ton of recycled plastic, we save the use of 800 kg of crude oil.
